Why do you think all clubs have half a dozen overseas players? It's because we struggle to develop enough talent here but at least the English clubs follow the requirement and make an effort regardless of the results. Neither TWP nor Catalans make such an effort. We have had a couple of great posts, but sadly this one from you isn't that good is it. Warrington met their obligations and then signed a Marquee, Cats and Wolfpack signed Marquees instead of meeting their obligations on TV money and player production. Easy to spot the difference isn't it

Both Catalan and Warrington have signed (very) expensive Aussies, albeit under very different circumstances but BOTH clubs have signed "high profile" Aussie players to bring profile and success, just as TWP have done with SBW.
Despite your constant disparaging remarks about the lack of French players in the Catalan squad, they are clearly within the rules laid out by SL
I agree about your comments on their academy, although I'm sure that you accept that it's a little more difficult for them having to fund the travel of their "junior" sides to play accross in England (plus a trip to Canada) or, would you suggest that they base their academy in Manchester ??
