New Zealand Warriors seem to cope just fine and have been doing it for 25 years now.
Initially, yes it would be a bit of a shock to begin with for a group of people who wouldn't be used to this as part of their routine in their playing season, but after a couple trips back and forth, players will adjust (post Covid 19) and the Toronto fixture will just become routine and the ''new normal'' in a few seasons.
There is a small difference in time /distance
Auckland to Sydney 1341 miles, Manchester to Toronto 3418 miles, even Auckland to Brisbane is just over 1400 miles.
I've no idea about time zones down under but, the travel from Auckland to Australia is quite similar in time distance to the English clubs playing in Perpignan.
Also time zones, which are the main factor contributing to jet lag are just a couple of hours as opposed to 5 ??
