I’ll never forget his reaction after the win at Leeds a few seasons ago when the interviewer basically dismissed the team as also rans. He seemed genuinely hurt and annoyed, a lot of players kiss badges but Tom means it. He gave the interviewer a polite telling off and it was brilliant to see.
Even if he hadn’t been twice injured and imho would have been the hottest player in the world I honestly believe he’d have still been with us despite the amazing offers he would have received. What more can you want.
Whatever the lad does in the future, even if heaven forbid he joined Cas or Leeds he’s already a Trinity legend in my book and I don’t use that tag lightly.
