These days, stats, player welfare (especially mentally), a huge emphasis on tactics. Things have gone in a different direction, now.
Granted, Wane is/was a very modern day version of the term "b&stard", but to those he's known for the last decade or so, he's ruled by fear, because people who know him, know him to be a "b&stard".Put him into a different dressing room (in modern times), he'll be hated/ignored/hounded out.
He's not lasted long in Scottish 3 point. Maybe he's upset the kilt wearers.
