The Red Rose went down 24-17 in France in their opening game after an abject first half left them with too much to do.

England generally have the whip hand over Scotland in rugby matches between the two sides, with 75 wins to the Scots’ 43 and 19 draws.
But Scotland have had the better of things over the past couple of years, starting with a convincing 25-13 win last time England visited Murrayfield in 2018.
And in last year’s Six Nations, the Scots came from 31-0 down to the brink of achieving their first win at Twickenham since 1983.
