Buying shares is permissible in Islam. There is stipulations which would make it un- permissible but unless you can tell me Toronto are engaging practices which are not allowed in Islam then calling SBW a hypocrite is not fair at all.

And where did SBW say SL should find a new sponsor. He is doing something for himself. He directly doesn't want to promote gambling. He also won't do any corporate functions which promote alcohol or gambling. He has done this ever since he became a Muslim. It's nothing new.

What the competition does around him is not relevant at all.
