As a former pupil at Snapethorpe, plaiyed on occasions for the school team, what year did you leave school. I left in 62. I think it was Jack Ward who had the school Team, and was also the Gardening Teacher, also handy with the cane for any lads who misbehaved in the school garden, he once caught a group of us lads throwing potatoes at each other, trying to spear them with the garden forks as the flew across the garden patch. I can still feel that dam cane.
