1st XV match off; 2nd’s go ahead

Minety’s home D&W1N clash with in form Melksham has been postponed after all three Minety pitches failed inspections because of standing water.  The recent spell of torrential rain has left all three pitches unplayable and so a decision was taken on Friday afternoon to postpone the fixture against Melksham.

As this is being written, the 2nd XV match in D&W3N at Royal Wootton Bassett is still going ahead, so if you want your fix of local rugby, it’s off to Ballard’s Ash on Saturday for a 2pm kick off.

Match report on the 2nd XV match will be posted on Saturday evening / Sunday morning with MTV (weather conditions permitting) of the game on this site on Wednesday morning.
