Match Day Guide | Ulster v Munster

Ulster welcome Munster to Kingspan Stadium this Friday in Round 10 of the Guinness PRO14 Championship. The fixture is also the last of the festive inter-provincial derbies.

Andrew Conway inspired Munster to a narrow victory in November’s reverse fixture, sending his side top of Conference B and that is where they remain. Ulster meanwhile, will be hoping to consolidate their second place position in Conference A.

Dan McFarland has made just three changes to the starting XV that recorded a bonus point win over Connacht at Kingspan Stadium last weekend. Club captain Iain Henderson returns, as does fellow international Jacob Stockdale and Nick Timoney.

Meet the Players

Prior to the game, non-playing squad members will be making appearances at various locations throughout the Fan Zone and new Kukri Pop-Up Shop (located at the back of the Grandstand).

After the game, members of the playing squad will meet supporters, sign autographs and pose for photos at the back of the Grandstand approximately 15 minutes after full-time.

Looking Back

Ulster last hosted Munster in December 2018, when tries from Rob Herring, Robert Baloucoune and David Shanahan saw Ulster earn a hard-fought 19-12 victory.
