Not sure Elstone has a grip on good negotiating tactics informing potential investors that you are looking for a quick outcome leaves it open to 'well that's what we are offering take it or leave it' perhaps he should have said we are looking for the best outcome for SL and the investor and will negotiate accordingly. His words appear a little desperate!
The RFU deal of £200m looks good but who knows, as for what value a potential investor would put on SL I'm guessing £200m is no it.
SL and the RFL do not get the media coverage that the RFU do and that's a big part of the value and these people are investing to make money it will not be goodwill, vanity or I love SL it's profit that they are after
