His previous with Souths and Parramatta suggests that he was never one to be relied on for long term consistent performances. Even if he'd come back in 2017 I think we'd have had to ride peaks and troughs with him.
Actually I prefer what Sandow did (walking out on his contract) to what Appo did (signing an enhanced deal and then loafing around for 2 years).
