Former Dons & Gt Britain prop forward as passed away at the age of 83
Dennis signed for the Dons in 1956 & in 1961 he signed for Hunslet he made 205 appearances for the Leeds based club & in September 1966 he was transferred to Castleford for a fee of £4750 he played 268 games for Castleford & in his career he was capped 11 times for Gt Britain at he end of his playing career he coached the Castleford Colts team his son Ian played for the Dons in 1988-89
Dennis was a tough rugged ball playing wholehearted rugby league player & he was a true gentleman off the playing field.
