Wharfedale 20-19 Preston Grsshoppers – A closely fought battle between old adversaries saw Wharfedale come out on top by a single point in a tense encounter.
Good early pressure from the Greens saw them take the lead with a try by Walker after turnover ball in the Preston 22. Further good field position saw Wharfedale again on the front foot and Blakeney-Edwards extended the lead with a simple penalty.
