I'm not sure who would be earning lots from us. I'd imagine for their positions the following are on above average wage:
Hill
Cooper
Clark
Ratchford
Austin
Currie
BMM
Atkins (maybe)
Charnley
Lineham
J Clark
Goodwin (maybe)
Maybe I've missed a couple of others (Hughes?)
I would say it depends how much space they taken up between them and how much we have left. Really we need there to be younger players to fill the squad out a bit. Dean and thewlis can definitely add valuable cover from what we have seen with them and maybe that allows us to free up some cap too (patton? Johnson has already gone).
After the above list I don't think there will be loads left on the cap, hence punts taken on Bailey, tasi, Cox etc. The club need to be really ruthless at getting the best value from the higher earners. I think most of that list have been good this season myself. We know Goodwin and atkins are going and westwood retiring. I would say currie hasn't been great value this season but I refuse to write him off yet, he's been too good for us in the past. Jason Clark has been decent but again probably not great value when matt Davis is likely to be cheaper and covers more positions, although we didn't know how Davis would go when both were signed.
