This decision has been made to reduce costs in the lead up to our much anticipated Betfred Championship playoff campaign.
We were told that money was no object, but that now seems not to be the case.
Also, the last couple of paragraphs smack of them using the IRB Calculator ...the most viewed RL team in UK RL in 2019.... what about those poor 150 million who would have tuned in to see the York and Leigh games
Last year Toronto whined about the cost of not playing play off games in blocks and now they're again cutting their cloth to save money. Given they make not one cent in profit, this is a clear sign that their is a finite amount available each year and it also points to them NOT getting into SL for whatever reason this year as a catastrophe.
