Love Island host Caroline Flack is dating ex tennis player Lewis Burton after split from Danny Cipriani

SHE has been overseeing on-screen romances all summer long in Majorca, but Love Island’s Caroline Flack is enjoying a flirtation of her own back home.

I can reveal the presenter has moved on from rugby hunk Danny Cipriani and is dating another sportsman — ex-tennis player-turned-model Lewis Burton.

The fledgling couple were spotted out for an intimate lunch on Wednesday at London’s posh Dean Street Townhouse, before today heading to the airport ahead of Monday’s final.

It comes two months after the telly host called time on her short-lived relationship with Danny after realising they were too different to go the distance.

She has since admitted to signing up to celebrity dating app Raya and has quietly been going on dates.

But in recent weeks she has been spending time with Lewis, who has even been out to visit her in Majorca where the ITV2 show is filmed.

A source close to the star said: “Caroline and Lewis were introduced through mutual friends and have really hit it off. They’ve been on several dates now and are getting on really well.

“Lewis has been a true gent to Caroline and has patiently waited to see her.

“She has been jetting back and forth between London and Majorca as she juggles her presenting commitments but they have been spending time together when they can.

“They feel comfortable in each other’s company and it seems to be going in the right direction.”

The male model previously had a successful career on the tennis courts, even making it to Wimbledon in 2013 playing doubles.

Speaking about dating last month, she insisted she hadn’t given up on the idea of finding true love.

She explained: “I’m dating. Even though I’ve had ups and downs in my love life, I do still adore love.

“Sometimes things work out, sometimes they don’t.”

And there’s more good news for Caroline after it was revealed she will host two series of Love Island in 2020 — with a winter version being broadcast from South Africa next January.

I’m sure that will make a great romantic getaway for them both.
