We promised you bigger and better, and that’s exactly what you got.
Following a long period of abysmal weather, on Friday 21st June, the Sun came out and we had spectacular weather for the whole of the Festival. Late Sunday afternoon, after everyone had packed up and gone home, the heavens opened again. Sundogs certainly lived up to it’s reputation as a portent of luck in battle, gained at the very same location in 1461.
With a pre-battle party with fancy dress and games on the Friday evening, Saturday was a day jam packed with sport, food, beer, cider, gin, prosecco, cocktails and great Live Bands, with more people than ever before partying until the early hours. Sunday morning was a time to chill out following a hearty breakfast.
