It is with much sadness that we advise of the passing of former player and president Sam Simon.
Despite retiring from the role after 30 years, Sam’s interest in the club remained at the fore front and he used to attend as many games as he could .
His rugby commitments which ran parallel to his work as a lawyer saw him chair the Under 21 Committee of the WRU being responsible for under 21s, under 19s, under 18s and under 16s and manage the Wales team tour to Japan in the late 1990s. Sam also played for the Crawshays during his playing days
