*ITS 350 FOR DICO *

This evening sees  Dico notch up 350 appearances for the club

Dico remains a force to be reckoned with and a highly respected member of the senior squad.

The Pencoed product progressed through the junior ranks at his local club before making the move to Tondu where he played at full back.

Growing past the 6ft mark saw Dico change positons to join the forwards and comfortably took up the position  of a lock forward.

With the Celtic Warriors Academy , Dico gained international recognition with the National U19s team.  His move to Sardis Road in 2004 was swiftly followed by a cap with Wales u21s.

An influential player, Chris took on the captaincy role in 2011 and proudly led the team to league and cup success.

His determination and commitment to the game gave him the opportunity to join the Blues Region in 2013 still linking with Pontypridd at club level

A call up by the Barbarians followed, then Chris proudly represented Cyprus at international level, the country of his forefathers.

In the summer of 2016, Chris returned to Sardis Road and back into the black and white jersey. A firm favourite with the fans, Dico remains dedicated to Pontypridd RFC

As part of his testimonial season, Chris has been active off the pitch too in organising events, with his testimonial game scheduled for the 18th of May , the family friendly event will ensure a great day our for all !

 His family are  firm Ponty fans with his wife Louisa,  children Jacob & Leila  and Dad  Nic  cheering Dico and the team on at the games.

Jacob is following his dads love of rugby and plays for Tondu RFC  and enjoyed his first rugby tour to west Wales.
