Waiting for sort out a replacement before announcing Edwards isn’t coming is as if they’re trying to look in control when it’s blatantly obvious they’re not. I’d have more respect for all parties if the club came out and said “We agreed a verbal contract, but we made a mistake of not getting Edwards to sign a contract for whatever reason, that has come back to bite us on the backside as Shaun has sought a more secure and lucrative future elsewhere. We are currently looking for our next coach, Adrian Lam is being considered as a candidate and is in the best position to showcase his skills as custodian of the coaches position now. Once we have something finalised we will let you all know in due course. We hope this clears things up”
