FRIENDS OF PONTYPRIDD

The ‘Friends of Pontypridd’ were formed over 30 years ago and were established with an aim to provide funds for projects at Sardis Road. To date these have included the repair of and new tannoy systems, the new scoreboard and clock and new dugouts. 

The ‘Friends’ have also provided financial help for player’s caps including recent 100, 200 and 300 caps that have been awarded to players. Other areas of support over the years have been financial donations to Pontypridd school’s rugby and in its early years it even helped provide kit for the ‘Athletic’ and helped fund end of season tours. More recently they have made a number of donations to Pontypridd RFC to purchase shares.

The ‘Friends’ are looking to continue this financial support for years to come and are looking for new members to join their group.
