If Flanagan is willing to come over for 2 or 3 years I would have him in a heartbeat, excellent coach able to get the maximum out of what was perceived to a Cronulla side that nobody in the NRL fancied to go anywhere near the Grand Final.
He may be just what we need to shake the squad up in a similar way Madge did with Nobles leftovers plus one or two Aussie imports.
I don't know the ins and outs of the salary cap debacle at the Sharks but surely it is as much the admistrators responsibility to govern the cap as the coach, I feel he has been hung out to dry by the club and the NRL.
