Our greatest ever coach. No one won more trophies with less money. He made average players good and good players great. The first coach I ever watched in 78 when we once had to play something like 5 games in a week due to a fixture backlog and injury crisis but we still made the top 8. A couple of years later we won back to back championships. As GB coach he came very close to beating the Aussies in a test series. He left us and came back when we looked doomed to be relegated and saved us in the last game of the season. I think it was the year after that we lost the championship on points difference. No one ever got more out of their players. Rest in peace Sir Peter.
