True. Sinfield still has a bee in his bonnet about McDermott and wants to get rid of the players that were mostly not there before his retirement. Meanwhile keeps a much poorer prop in Singleton and offered deals to his mates JJB and Ablett who haven’t even played this year and haven’t got really any more to offer whilst Garbutt could offer us 140m constantly for the next few seasons. Maybe lose 2 of them 3 and they’d have been able to afford Merrin whilst keeping Garbutt. But Garbutt wasn’t his mate.
