The circumstances were obviously difficult back then but I do miss him as a player.
He’s a match winner and a maverick and his work rate is second to none.
Looking back it’s ironic that the posters that lambasted Wane for playing boring rugby are the same ones who lambasted Gelling for making mistakes through trying to be expansive.
Two or three years ago he was the best centre in the league for me personally. I just loved his style
