Id rather have an in form Hardaker who is a far better/safer defensive fullback and can still cause plenty of problems is attack. Barba is nothing more than an entertainer....when he feels like it.
I prefer my players to be able to defend. Tomkins wasnt a crash hot defender but he worked hard to make himself able to get the job done in a satisfactory manner. Barba is just a turnstile and not really fast enough to make important cover tackles.
I hope we dont go near him and stick with Zak and spend the money elsewhere where we need to. A quality prop, hooker, halfback or centre is far more important than a show pony like Barba.
