Warrington Wolves • Re: Salary Cap

5 points clear of Cas

RD is clearly referring to 2018 when you finished one point above Castleford. It is the norm for the punishment to apply the year following the breach not two years after as in this instance, meaning Castleford would have been at home for the semi-final last year. If as you suggest it should apply to the season the breach occurred then Wigan should have been relegated in 2006 rather than Castleford - which way do you want it?

Seems to me Castleford have been truly stuffed twice by Wigan's cheating.

As an aside from Wigan's whiney statement today:

"The breach was an administrative error arising from six small invoices of between £2000 and £3000 for Agents’ fees which were overlooked by a new administrative team after Finance Department restructuring in January 2017. The mistakes coincided with an unprecedented sequence of injuries demanding multiple salary cap administration changes and dispensation applications." - emphasis added.

Interesting given the current situation with Gale and Brown, trust Wigan fans truly supportive of our's and Cas' position - Ha ha!
