Yeah, I basically agree with FA.
It's the same with all sports though; formula 2 is just as good to watch as F1, but doesn't make it to the screen, lower league soccer games are just as exciting as premier league but don't get the same viewing time. Hell, I've seen some cracking games of rugby in the park. Rightly or wrongly though people pay subscriptions to see the big names and they are in the top divisions and I'm sure that is what drives the likes of Sky, BT et al. Of course, none of that tells us why Sky actually wanted the rights to the championship, or why the RFL 'gave away' those rights to a broadcaster which had no intention of using of them for more than a weekend and that is what the authorities ought to be looking at.
