Im a massive Fax fan and have been for over 40 years so this is not a negative. Our team and squad are not good enough for SL and playing a team like Widnes, however bad they are in SL, will beat us. If our players were SL they would be playing SL. We are a Semi-pro time team. made the play offs in 4th with 3 full time teams above us and beat Leigh to 4th. We have a squad of lads who play their hearts out for Fax. Yes we need to recruit and need a bit more bulk/speed/skills from somewhere but these lad and the coaching team deserve applause for what they have done this season.
