Crosby really lmpressed tonight and is worth a contract for next season. I wouldn't imagine he would be amongst the highest earners and could be a regular in the 17. If we can get Garbutt fit, having him and Crosby in the 17 would help our go forward no end. I appreciate that he has only played a handful of games against poorer opposition but the signs are good.
Once again Sutcliffe comes in for plenty of criticism while Myler is described as excellent. I agree he improved in the 2nd half and played quite well, but that stood out because of how poor he is the rest of the time. We had numerous tackles on Salfords line in the 1st half, most of it one out rubbish. His lack of ability to organise and create play is shocking at times. It was a good job he was awarded the penalty at the end because that was another set of 6 heading nowhere.
Sutcliffe is not a 6 I agree. He hangs onto the ball far too often but we scored 3 tries tonight and he created 2 of them.
