A bit of a strange game I thought. We were comfortable from the get go and keighley never looked like they would cause us much trouble. In truth they only give us a game in friendlies when we are not really trying...
The first half we dropped a lot of ball unnecessarily but as kear said we showed up in defence to make up for the errors. Second half we scored some lovely try’s and ran out comfortable winners but the atmosphere and performance for me lacked something. I think that something is that basically we know we are in the playoffs and it’s a waiting game now.
Interesting to hear from Chris what happened with the ‘punch’. The keighley player was determined to start something as shown with the penalty he gave away moments earlier. I watched the scrum down as I thought something else would happen then saw the touch judge run on and Elliot asking if he just saw that, which he obviously did. Did Elliot mention what actually happened? Red signalled a punch but I think most inthe stands missed it
