Ah but just because stone himself said it, and those present heard it, doesnt make it true. DJ says it was about wages- so he’s obviously right and Stone was lying. The level of conspiracy there is to protect Richard thewlis is such that we can’t believe anything that anyone connected with the club says. We can only believe supposition and unsubstantiated rumour whispered amongst forum and social media members.
