I don't rate this Leeds. They keep losing by narrow margins and struggled to turn over a garbage Hull KR side. I know their supporters arrogantly believe they can play s*** most of the regular season but win the silverware at the end but it won't be happening this year..
I'll wait to see more of Warrington yet. Yes 7 on the trot sounds good but 6 of those against the bottom 6 and the Cas game was played in joke conditions.
Leeds might not win anything but you know what, that'd be ok. We've won 2 out of the last 3 GF's and you can't win them every year so we don't exactly 'need' silverware this year compared to some others who are at different stages with their squad. With a new captain in Watkins, new HB and young forwards coming through we're putting into place a new squad that'll be doing just fine over the next 4/5 years even if it comes up a bit short this year. We've had trophyless years in recent times, we just respond the next year/s. Nothing in 2006, then won the next 3 GF's. Nothing in 2010, won the next 2 GF's. Nothing in 2013, finally landed the Cup in '14 and a treble in 2015. Nothing in 2016, GF in 2017.
