Not a particularly good game but yes the weather was an hugely influencing factor.
But how bad was that VR decision? It's startlingly clear the outside defender bought the dummy line, made the wrong decision and stepped in. The inside defender contacted by the dummy runner was irrelevant and didn't affect play.
Has Bentham ever played? Because that decision was indicative of someone who simply doesn't understand obstruction or the effect a good dummy runner is intended to have.
Cas may well have won either way but IIRC 6 points would have put Wakefield within 6 at that stage.
