The Virtual Terrace • Could Toronto, London and Toulouse all get promoted?

The point is a club founded in 1878 (Leigh) can’t survive without signing overseas players, but a club founded in 2000 (Catalan) are expected to, according to some of you flatcappers.
Listen you stupid pseudo white flag surrender monkey, I don't care if Leigh, Leeds or the entire SL and Championship sides from England are all rammed with ANZACS......we were discussing Catalans, so stop attempting to deflect from them and debate the issue.
Catalans are the pinnacle of French Rugby League, the top team, the numero uno side...the bees knees and the Mutts nuts, yet they have to rely on average ANZACS year on year and are rooted to the foot of the table.
It's not like there wasn't any RL in the SW of France prior to Catalans joining SL.....there is quite a healthy semi-pro competition down there that sees good crowds for their finals footie, so there is little excuse for the Catalans Dragons to be over reliant on ANZAC pensioners, looking for a nice few years on sunny beaches with cheap plonk.......and if Toulouse go up, it will be exactly the same there too......because French RL isn't producing the talent in large enough numbers.
It matters not that Leeds, St Helens, Wigan etc are rammed with ANZAC Talent, nor that Toronto, should they go up will raid the NRL.......Catalans Dragons were admitted to SL to help the French game develop......they haven't, it hasn't and all we get now are rants from the owner about an anti-french bias
As it stands, I can see Catalan v Toronto in Toronto as the MPG.........and if the French go down I see the game in France being set back by dozens of years......
