There is something massively wrong with us Eels fans. Most of us have never seen our team win a premiership, others are too young to remember. Losing has just become a way of life to a point where we are told by other fans to accept the mediocrity and stop complaining because the team is doing their best! These fans always try find excuses and have built a thick accepting skin. Other fans are so passionate that they let their feeling get the better of them. They refuse to go through the torture and are kicking and screaming constantly. You only have to read half the comments on this site to see this.  The conclusion is we fans have huge mental problems!  We support a team that brings us nothing but pain, sorrow, anger and embarrassment. Sometimes, just sometimes we think things may end been okay only for that glimmer of hope to disappear in an instant. We get delusional. We allow us ourselves to dream.  It's like living in an abusive relationship. I don't know the term for what we go through so let's call it a 'abusive fanlationship'!So what's the bloody cure?See More
