After the disappointments over the last week, first our loss to Oldham in the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup and the loss in Toulouse it was good to get back on track with a competent win over Barrow which puts us back to 5th in the table and a match in hand. Took the chances when points available and defence back to what we know. All eyes are now on Easter Monday with another hard game at Dewsbury closely followed by London home the following week. Ben Johnston took the Shay Lounge MOM and 3 points with Steve Tyrer 2nd with 2 and Sion Jones 3rd with 1, who also took the Hitman award.
Ben now takes the lead on 6 with Ed Barber 2nd on 5 with Steve on 3 along with James Woodburn-Hall.
The half time draw winning number for £130 was 1593.
We have now exceeded last years numbers in Club 1873 with 141,5 more than last year. The first draw follows the Swinton game on Sunday 15th April.
Still places available on the coach to Dewsbury on Monday,Ko 3.00pm. We leave the Shay from the top of Hunger Hill at 1.15pm. Adults £9, juniors £4. Also taking names for Toronto on Saturday 28th April. Adults £28 with juniors £12. Need to check numbers to confirm the trip goes ahead.
Finally well done to all those Barrow fans who came to the game and made it a great Rugby night. Good rugby banter from a good set of supporters.
