Wigan Warriors - wiganrugbyfans.com • Re: Changes
Our passive line speed and lack of intensity in defense for the past 2 weeks has meant we have lost the territory battle which means we spend all our time in attack coming away fro mour line.
Both Souths and wire taught us a lesson in this area.
This has to change,. To suggest this is an energy saving tactic is ridiculous. The amount of energy you save is more than taken up by the amount of defending and having to clear your own line with the ball that leaves the players "gassed" as wane calls it.
Intensity In defence and line speed is taught at u7s.
We should be fit enough without having to resort to energy saving ridiculous tactics.
