Watched the video this evening and I thought our defence was mostly good especially on the goal line. Joe Keyes' kicking game was superb. He chased down his kicks well and tackled their backs to put pressure on the kick return. We were a bit unlucky for their second try. Atrocious pass from their player confused our lot and as the ball bobbled on the ground their centre did a great job picking it up and running into space. I imagine in terms of defence it's difficult to react to a poor pass that turns out to ricohet into the hands of the right player!
Great finish to the game. An absolute humdinger. Bet Proper Sports were licking their lips at that as their opening broadcast, although as someone else said that fella they had on was useless. He didn't offer a word of insightful material whatsoever.
Bulls did well to grind that one out. I'm sure our attack will improve. On the whole happy with the way we defended though.
