Chase and JJB were at least sentenced within the range for their grades so that part makes sense. Now a lot of folk are of the opinion that a grade A for JJB's offence is comically low but that's a different story.

McGuire does defy common sense, as does Percival which you seem to have strangely overlooked, as they were out of recommended range for the grade. What makes these even odder is that the panel states that it doesn't dispute the grading in both instances but still ignores it come sentencing. Certainly good fodder for any conspiracy theorists.

As for Wigan, they manage to get a higher number of incidents reviewed each week than just about anyone else but only a small number result in a charge. No charge means no chance of a ban, without the clowns on the disciplinary committee even getting a chance to do their worst. Again this is another story and I'm sure Wigan fans will have a different take on this.
