Lives Remembered: Tom Neil, 1920 - 2018

ON the 75th anniversary of “Britain’s finest hour” wing commander Tom “Ginger” Neil recalled that, as a 19-year-old pilot, he had thought of the Battle of Britain as “a game of rugby where the penalty for being defeated was death”.
