CUBC prepares for Women’s Head of the River Race 2025

0 0

On Saturday 8 March, three Cambridge crews will take part in the 2025 Women’s Head of the River Race, competing in the Senior University category. The event takes place on the Tideway from Mortlake to Putney (The Boat Race course in reverse), providing a real test for our provisional crews who are in the final stages of selection for the 2025 Boat Race and Lightweight Boat Races. Crews in this category are competing to win two pennants. The highest-placed crew whose members are all below ‘international standard’, is awarded the ‘Senior Pennant.’ The ‘University Pennant’ is awarded to the highest-placed crew from a higher education institution.

The Club wishes all three crews the best of luck.
