Classifieds • Lost shoes- Volunteer Wall/The Shire
Hey guys! I was climbing on April 15. I began at the Shire and then moved to the Volunteer Wall. I lost my climbing shoes- Women's Scarpa Vapor V size 37.5. They're dirty from climbing outside but in fairly new condition.
I was wearing them in the morning at The Shire, then we hiked over to the Volunteer Wall. I threw all my gear under the small cave by the end of the trail to the Volunteer Wall (around the corner from the 5.6 route). I'm pretty sure I remember throwing my shoes down there with my bag while I talked to some friends. Then I picked everything up and hauled it up the stairs and dropped everything near Darwin Loves You (5.9+). There were a lot of people in my group and some people climbing very close to us from other groups. I'm pretty sure my shoes made it up to that area, but it's possible I left them near the small cave or even at The Shire. My best guess is that in the mixed up piles of gear from at least 10 climbers, someone accidentally picked up my shoes.
