Inclusivity

Silicon Valley Karate PRIDEs itself on being inclusive. We are accepting of all types of people (and pets as well – but only over Zoom ). We welcome everyone, regardless of background or preference, provided they are not mean or reckless.

June is “Pride Month” but we believe that we should not limit our openness to a single month.

On a related note, since just prior to the official COVID shut-down in March 2020, we have offered and will continue to offer classes both online and in-person. We want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to do Karate in the situation they prefer.

Although we are not able (yet) to offer physical hugs, please count this as your offer for a virtual welcome embrace!
