Meet ‘Karate Hottie’ Michelle Waterson dubbed the sexiest UFC star in the world and who once posed nude
UFC star Michelle Waterson has been dubbed the sexiest MMA star in the world.
The brunette beauty is set to star in UFC 249 as organisation chief Dana White finally gets his showpiece event up and running amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The 34-year-old stunner made her MMA debut back in 2007 and will take to the Octagon in the early hours of tomorrow morning in Pentonville, Florida.
UFC 249 is being headlined by American Tony Ferguson’s fight with Justin Gaethje but the bumper card has been hit by more Covid-19 controversy.
Brazilian fighter Ronaldo Souza tested positive for the virus causing his bout with Uriah Hall to be pulled from the line-up.
Boss White has been blasted for fist bumping fighters, including Souza, at Friday’s weigh-in and legendary boxer Oscar De La Hoya labelled the UFC president “a little bitch”.
But Waterson, known as the ‘Karate Hottie’, is still set to face fellow American Carla Esparza in a strawweight bout nearly a month later than originally scheduled thanks to the pandemic.
The ‘Karate Hottie’ is a self-proclaimed “mother, wife and professional bad*ss” and is not afraid to show off her impressive physique.
She famously posed nude on ESPN Body Issue in 2017 with UFC superstars Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor among a number of fighters to have ditched their clothes for the iconic magazine.
Waterson is not the shy and retiring type and admits she loves her moniker.
She told ESPN The Magazine Body Issue: “I like my Karate Hottie nickname. I think it’s catchy.
“I don’t mind saying that I’m hot. If you want to underestimate your opponent [because of her nickname], for sure, go ahead.”

Waterson is definitely fighting fit and has amassed a loyal following of 1.4million on Instagram.
In the run up to her latest fight she has been keeping fans abreast of her preparations – even posting an image of her being swabbed for Covid-19 and posing in a mask.
The ‘Karate Hottie’ will be looking to add to her 17 UFC wins and avenge the defeat she suffered last time out against Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
