British Veterans Shine in Warsaw at European Cup
Three British judokas were in action over the weekend at the Warsaw Veteran European Cup, delivering an impressive set of results in Poland.
Tibor Banyai (Honto Judo) was in outstanding form, claiming gold in the -73kg M2 category. He went on to double up with a bronze medal in the ne-waza -81kg (M1–M3) division, continuing his strong 2025 season after his recent gold at the British Veterans Open.
Adam Stevens (Goole Judo Club) added another medal to his collection, taking silver in the -81kg M1 category, following up on his podium finishes in Riga and at the British Veterans Open. Adam unfortunately had to withdraw from the ne-waza due to injury — we wish him a swift and full recovery.
Caroline Brayson (Pudsey Judo Club) delivered one of the standout performances of the weekend, taking gold in the -63kg (F2) category and silver in the ne-waza -63kg (F1–F3) division. Her technical ability continues to make her one of the most consistent performers on the veteran circuit.
Congratulations to all of our fighters!
