Public Judo Coach Register

In April, British Judo invited coaches to give their views on a public judo coach register. Over the two weeks whilst the survey was live we received over 500 responses, with an overwhelming 94% in favour of a searchable register.

Karen Roberts, British Judo Development Director said: “It was fantastic to get this level of engagement from our coaching community. The positive response around a public register makes sense, our coaches work hard to provide positive experiences of judo and, like the club finder, the register will help those outside of judo know that they are working with a recognised coach. We will endeavour to explore how we can provide this for our coaching membership.”
