British Judo Paralympic Head Coach, Ian Johns recently travelled to Tokyo to work with a number of Paralympic coaches, from across the globe, to educate them on the coaching of visually impaired judo.

Moving into the Dan grades is a special moment that all judoka will treasure. Whether a lifetime goal or a happy co-incidence of hard work and dedication to the sport of judo, Dan grade promotions deserve to be recognised.

The British Judo Centre of Excellence will once again play host to the British National Inclusion Open Training Day on Saturday 1st February 2020. This is a national training day open to all Senior and Junior players that have a Physical, Sensory or Intellectual Impairment (including under – 8s).
RAF Akrotiri Judo Club held its first ever internal judo competition on 14th December for its junior and intermediate judoka. The event took place at the Akrotiri Martial Arts Centre and involved 27 judoka between the ages of 5 and 12.
