Montreal, August 11, 2019 – Mina Coulombe (-78 kg) and Marc Deschênes (+100 kg) couldn’t score a victory on Sunday, the last day of competition at the Pan American Games in Lima, in Peru. In her first bout of the day, Coulombe was facing Costa Rican Diana Brenes.

Montreal, August 8, 2019 – The Pan American Games might have started over two weeks ago in Lima, but Thursday was the first day on the tatamis. Marie Besson was the first Canadian judoka in action and placed in seventh place in -52 kg.

British Judo have today announced the final team that will compete at the Judo World Championships in Tokyo, Japan from 25-31st August. The team consists of current World Championship silver medallist Nekoda Smythe-Davis ( -57kg) and Rio Olympic Games bronze medallist Sally Conway (-70kg).
