Toys "R" Us Gift Cards Emergency

My youngest had a couple of Toys R Us gift cards totalling $60 and suddenly it was an emergency. You see, Toys R Us have filed for creditor protection and that means you have until February 16, 2026 to redeem your gift cards. But you must redeem them in-store, because the website is no longer accepting orders.
So this evening we made our way to the Sherway Toys R Us location and my daughter was ordered to spend up to $60. She actually got within $1.28 and we handed the card to someone in line.
If you have a Toys R Us gift card, use it or lose it.
